JIN - DONT SAY YOU LOVE ME

BTS’s Jin returns with a cinematic and emotionally charged music video for his new single, "Don’t Say You Love Me," the lead track from his second solo EP, Echo. Released on May 16, 2025, the video showcases Jin's evolution as an artist, blending his musical talents with a compelling visual narrative.

Directed by Yongseok Choi of LUMPENS, the music video unfolds as a poignant short film, capturing the complexities of love and heartbreak. Jin portrays a man haunted by memories of a past relationship, unable to escape the emotional remnants of his former lover. His journey through various iconic Singaporean locations—such as the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, and the National Gallery—symbolizes his attempts to move forward while being tethered to the past. The video features actress Shin Se Kyung, known for her roles in Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung and Run On, who plays the love interest, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative.

The song itself is a medium-tempo pop ballad that delves into the pain of unrequited love and the difficulty of letting go. Jin's soulful vocals convey the raw emotion of the lyrics, resonating with listeners who have experienced similar heartache. The track's universal themes are complemented by its cinematic visuals, making it a standout piece in Jin's musical repertoire.

"Don’t Say You Love Me" is part of Jin's Echo EP, which explores themes of love, loss, and self-reflection. The EP also includes collaborations with artists like YENA and features Jin's first solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, set to begin in June 2025.

Fans and new listeners alike are encouraged to experience the full music video to fully appreciate Jin's artistic expression and the emotional depth of "Don’t Say You Love Me."
