LISA - DREAM

The music video for LISA’s “Dream,” released on August 14, 2025, as a standout track from her debut solo album Alter Ego, is a poignant and cinematic short film that captures the bittersweet essence of love and loss. Directed by OJun Kwon, the five-minute video stars LISA alongside Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, portraying a grieving widow and her late husband. Filmed with a soft, nostalgic glow, the video opens with a somber funeral scene before weaving through tender memories of the Couple’s past—frolicking through lush gardens, cruising atop mountains, and sharing intimate moments like a heartfelt conversation about reincarnation, where LISA dreams of being a tree and Sakaguchi a reflective lake. The evocative visuals, set against the emotional ballad’s lyrics like “Whenever I close my eyes / It’s taking me back in time / Been drowning in dreams lately / Like it’s 2019, baby,” amplify the song’s themes of longing and cherished memories. LISA’s expressive performance, paired with breathtaking cinematography, creates a deeply moving narrative that culminates in a heartfelt farewell, spreading ashes by a lake, making “Dream” a visually stunning and emotionally resonant masterpiece.
